Bremont’s new limited edition watch is a wearable salute to the 60th anniversary of Jaguar E-Type

Few cars are as contemporary as the Jaguar E-Type. The curved sports car was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961 and has been regarded as a symbol of Swinging’s 60s for many years thereafter. On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the model’s birth this year, British watchmaker Bremont launched a limited edition watch and rally timer set to capture the elegance and retro flavor of the E-Type, and provide the extra car experience that Jaguar provides with all the classic styles.
This 43 mm stainless steel watch is available in two color versions, each with 60 pieces. The colors are called “Flat Out Grey” and “Drop Everything Green”, and colors appear on the bezel and matching leather strap of each version.
The timepiece is rife with details that mirror the design of the E-Type, including a black dial that mimics the car’s instrument gauges, chamfered hour and minute hands that replicate the car’s tachometer needle, a winding crown engraved with the pattern of the Dunlop racing tires fitted to the 1960s E-type and an automatic winding rotor, visible through a sapphire crystal caseback, that recreates the look of an alloy-spoked E-type steering wheel in extreme miniature. replica automatic watches
The device includes the first ever rally timer in Bremont, which has a mechanical stopwatch with a speedometer on the left side and a mechanical clock with sub-seconds on the right side. The instrument is installed on the beautiful engine rotating back plate, which can stand on a desktop computer or be installed on a car.
