New watches from JACOB & CO. and Bugatti feature V16 engines

Now you can wear a Bugatti on your wrist.

Jacob & Co.’s new Bugatti Tourbillon watch reimagines its hypercar counterpart and comes with just as many impressive features, continuing Jacob & Co.’s current all-star 2024 watch release series.

If you browsed the “Recommended for you” page at any time in mid-June, there’s a good chance you’ll see the successor to the Bugatti Chiron.

The Bugatti “Tourbillion” (which shares the same name as Jacob & Co.’s watch) is a luxury hypercar from the French automaker that features an 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine that revs to 9,000rpm and is powered by three electric motors.

Even if you don’t know what any of that means, just know that the Tourbillion’s hybrid powertrain produces around 1,800 horsepower, has a top speed of 300 mph, and is capable of accelerating to 62 mph in under 2 seconds.

As for the vehicle’s new design, Bugatti took inspiration from the world of watchmaking to create a car that is as visually (and invisibly) complex as a fine, homemade watch complication – hence the name “Tourbillon”.

Jacob & Co. and Bugatti wanted to seamlessly integrate the complexity, engineering, and power of Bugatti’s new flagship into a timepiece that sits on your wrist.

The collaboration produced the Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon watch, which measures 52 x 44 mm and is 15 mm thick, making it quite easy to wear. The new luxury watch bears similarities to the car’s analog watches, sharing the same front grille, side air intakes, and even large sapphire side “windows,” all housed in a black PVD titanium case.

But the real star is this watch’s Caliber JCAM55 movement. The Jacob & Co. Bugatti Tourbillon replicas Bugatti’s V16 engine with a panoramic design, made from a single block of transparent sapphire to mimic and run the 16-cylinder internal combustion engine found in new Bugatti cars.

The watch includes a 30-second flying tourbillon and a double power reserve, both displayed on its car-like “dashboard” face – it also features a retrograde hour and minute that starts from zero to mimic an RPM counter.

Say what you want about Jacob & Co, but they know how to inject some fun (and a little craziness) into the world of watchmaking. luxury fake watches

This isn’t the first time Jacob & Co. and Bugatti have collaborated. The two teamed up in 2019 to create the Bugatti Chiron 16-Cylinder Tourbillon for the Bugatti Chiron hypercar.

Admittedly, this watch isn’t my favorite, as it’s a little too “heavy” for my taste. However, the Streamlined Tourbillon launched today will probably go down as one of my favorite products from the brand in years, striking the perfect balance of engineering and design to create an ultimate watch.

For me, this comes down to two scenarios. Either you are one of the lucky few who owns a new Tourbillon car and need a watch to go with your new supercar. Or, you have money, but not necessarily Bugatti money, but still want to have this French brand in your daily life. fake watches for sale
