In January, British watch company cheap Bremont launched a new line of World Time chronographs. The Bremont Kingsman Special Edition watch was designed to accompany 20th Century Fox’s new movie Kingsman: The Secret Service, which is released this month. The three new styles, worn throughout the film by actors such as Colin Firth and Michael Caine, are available now.
In terms of the Bremont watch pedigree, the Kingsman Special Edition shares similarities with the ALT1 line of watches. It combines the tricompax dial design of a chronograph with a 24-hour world timer. The world time function is controlled by the crown at 8 o’clock, which rotates the bidirectional inner bezel with the city names of the 24 time zones. As the Kingsman focuses on the jet-set world of British spies, Bremont’s British roots and travel watches complement each other well.
The Kingsman Special Edition is powered by the BE-54AE movement. As the dial arrangement indicates, the movement is the Bremont version of the ETA Valjoux 7750. It is an automatic movement with 13 1/4 lignes beating at 28,800 vph. It has a Glucydur balance, an Anachron hairspring, a Nivaflex 1 mainspring and 25 jewels. It has a power reserve of 42 hours. The center of the dial houses the hour, minute and chronograph seconds hands, as well as a 24-hour UTC hand with an arrow. Once the city is selected, the pointer will point to the appropriate time. Running seconds display at 9 o’clock; chronograph minute subdial at 12 o’clock and chronograph minute subdial at 6 o’clock. Date window at 3 o’clock.
These watches use Bremont’s three-part “Trip-Tick” case construction, which includes a uniquely designed case middle or barrel (often with another alloy or treatment). The case diameter is 43mm and the lug width is 22mm. Its height is 16 mm. The domed sapphire crystal is scratch-resistant and has an anti-reflective coating. The case back has a sapphire crystal window. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters and comes on a leather strap with a pin buckle.

Bremont produces three versions of the Kingsman Special Edition in steel, DLC-coated steel and rose gold. The middle part of the rose gold version has a DLC coating. The dial is made of white metal and the hands are coated with Super-LumiNova. The bottom cover is also made of rose gold, with an alligator leather strap.
Kingsman treated with DLC. Its oscillating weight, caseback and screws are also coated with diamond-like carbon. It comes with a black calfskin strap and a black metal dial.
