Chopard launches three limited edition watches

After 15 years on Madison Avenue, Chopard is proud to announce the relocation of its North American flagship store to Manhattan’s legendary Fifth Avenue. Celebrate the occasion with a spectacular range of watches to choose from, including an ethical 18k yellow gold Alpine Eagle, three fun Happy Sport watches, and a Red Carpet Collection fine jewelry piece, set with yellow diamonds.

Located in the iconic Crown Building between 56th and 57th Streets, the new boutique combines the eclectic essence and proud history of New York with a vibrant modern spirit. Inspired by renowned architect duo Warren and Wetmore of the 1920s and 1930s, the design resembles a New York penthouse, with custom finishes featuring unique furnishings crafted by the finest artisans on two floors. The venue includes a main salon, a VIP room and a gentlemen’s lounge. Elegant and timeless design concepts provide the perfect backdrop for Chopard’s vibrant watch and jewelry creations.

Since its debut in 2019, the Chopard Alpine Eagle collection has been acclaimed for its exquisite case and bracelet finishes, combined with the eagle-eye-inspired retina-textured dial that hints at every Alpine Eagle All in the service of a good cause. Chopard, an independent family business, has set out to support efforts dedicated to helping more alpine eagles return to their eponymous natural habitat. As another longstanding commitment to sustainability, Chopard has been one of the pioneers in sourcing and using ethically sourced 18k gold – since July 2018, 100% ethically sourced gold is used for all Chopard watches and jewelry creations Made of regulated gold. One of the few manufacturers in decades to have its own precious metal foundry, Chopard uses this more precious variant of gold – including 18k gold – in every part of this 41mm wide Alpine Eagle Case, bracelet and crown. The elegant bezel is secured by eight functional index screws and surrounds a textured dial with rich colors and luminous indicators.

Thanks to its independence and the integration of its various specialties, Chopard completes all production and assembly stages of this collection in its own watchmaking workshop, from the movement to the bracelet, including components and cases. Comprised of 207 parts and only 4.95 mm thick, the Chopard Caliber 01.01-C combines a modern 4 Hz operating frequency, 60-hour power reserve and COSC chronometer certification for chronometric precision.

On site to celebrate the opening of Chopard’s new Fifth Avenue boutique, two exclusive Happy Sport watches feature Apple’s universal logo, with captivating dance elements swirling on their dials. The first watch, limited to 17 pieces, comes in a black with DLC-coated stainless steel case and a vegetable leather strap. Sandwiched between two carefully cut and precisely mounted crystals are three diamonds and a multicolored apple that frame the black sunray satin-brushed dial, accentuated by rhodium-plated hands and hour markers. On the crown, onyx replaces the collection’s traditional sapphire to ensure a uniform color for this piece.

The second Chopard Happy Sport Fifth Avenue Edition is a veritable piece of high jewelry. Five diamonds and an apple set with rubies, tsavorites and brown diamonds dance on a textured mother-of-pearl dial with a guilloché center, central decorative fillets and diamond-set hour-markers. Its gold-plated hands are powered by a self-winding movement that combines a 42-hour power reserve with a 4Hz operating frequency. These two particular timepieces, whether in 18k rose gold or black DLC stainless steel, feature 36mm wide cases that are extremely hardwearing. The duo showcases the bold style of the iconic Happy Sport collection, which has been constantly reinvented without losing its joie de vivre.

The last piece associated with Chopard’s Fifth Avenue opening celebrations is the Happy Sport New York Edition, inspired by the city that never sleeps, with five dancing diamonds swirling around a mother-of-pearl dial, framing the banks of the Hudson River. The position of the pointer marks the location of the Empire State Building, thus paying homage to the architectural masterpiece. A row of hand-set diamonds adorns the beautifully crafted bezel, framing this special bird’s-eye view that many Chopard fans call home.

Chopard’s stunning new Fifth Avenue boutique will officially open in December 2022, when Chopard Co-Presidents Caroline Scheufele and Karl-Friedrich Scheufele Scheufele will be in attendance, and you’ll be able to find these highly exclusive pieces in the iconic Crown Building between 56th and 57th. wholesale cheap watch
