During Dubai Watch Week 2021, replica De Bethune launched a new DB25QP perpetual calendar watch with a green guilloche dial and a new titanium case with integrated lugs.

De Bethune perpetual calendar is full of poetry, combining moon phases, starry sky and perpetual calendar in an extraordinary timepiece, combining the exquisite craftsmanship of watchmaking with the precision machinery of the watch factory. Inspired by drums, the round case with a diameter of 44 mm has been subtly improved with its refined and determined classic lines, set off by the unique hollow horn of the DB25 series.

The exquisite decoration and pure green handmade guilloche dials are distributed radially in 12 sectors, highlighting the legibility of the dial, which is a combination of ring appliques that divide the sub-dial and the hour circle. At 12 o’clock, a sphere made of palladium and black zirconia sits in a sky studded with golden stars, and a leap year indicator is added to the golden dots in the starry sky at 12 o’clock. The date can be read on the dial at 6 o’clock, and the windows indicating the day of the week and the month are located at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock respectively.

The round case of the new DB25QP retains the harmonious lines that contributed to the success of the original DB25QP, but is made of titanium for the first time. This further enhances the practicality and comfort of this timepiece.

The DB2324 self-winding movement was developed in the Haute Horlogerie workshop of Sainte Croix in the Swiss Jura Mountains, thanks to the research and know-how of De Bethune. It contains a perpetual calendar, a spherical moon indicating the phases of the moon with an accuracy of 1 day/122 years, an automatically adjustable double barrel, a triple chute system and a titanium/grey gold balance wheel.

The sapphire caseback allows one to appreciate the complexity and exquisite finish of the movement: ¾ platinum plywood with star decoration, sandblasted and hand-colored, blue titanium balance bridge and balance arm, hand-colored White gold weights, hand chamfered and mirror polished steel.

This new perpetual calendar is equipped with a green textile strap, with a polished titanium buckle and pins. Comes with a second leather strap. This brand new DB25QPATIS4 perfectly interprets the technical and aesthetic knowledge of the watch factory, and is destined to replace all the DB25QPs that appeared in the current De Bethune series.
