BRM BT6-46 Gulf: Racing Spirit
French independent watchmaker BRM continues its collaboration with Gulf Oil, launching the BRM BT6-46 Gulf Oil watch. This imposing 46mm three-hand/date timepiece features a Grade 2 titanium case and an automatic mechanical movement, predominantly in the legendary oil company’s signature black, sky blue, and orange color scheme. The watch will be available at retailers starting in April 2014.

From the brand’s inception, much of his work has been closely linked to the world of automobiles and motorcycles—from design and construction to color schemes.
Today, BRM continues this tradition, even surpassing it… He has just released a three-hand/date timepiece with a 46mm Grade 2 titanium case, housing the crucial 2824-2 automatic mechanical movement.
Bernard Richards conceived the idea for a new watch while observing Formula One motorcycle engines… as he humorously put it: “Through the bezel, tightening the case back with long hex bolts… what’s the advantage of this design?” The result is a lighter and more original timepiece, while retaining our brand’s iconic “racing” imprint.

Furthermore, BRM has once again partnered with Gulf Oil, the legendary oil company with a history in motorsport since the 1960s, aiming to make the BT-6-46 a “first choice” timepiece for all racing enthusiasts and collectors, while also offering exceptional value.
This new watch naturally features BRM’s signature skeletonized hands and a beautiful fabric strap, the color of which perfectly matches the Gulf Oil color scheme on the dial!
