The luxury watch design complements the off-road electric SUV racing car.

Since its successful entry into the world of motorsport, the Extreme E off-road racing series continues its journey of racing-spec electric SUVs in the most remote areas of the world. As the official timekeeper of the Extreme E, Zenith is proud to present a new limited-edition watch to commemorate the all-electric racing series. The new Zenith DEFY Extreme E Desert x Prix Edition is housed in a 45mm case made from a lightweight blend of carbon and titanium. Beneath the matching fixed bezel is a skeletonized dial design that includes a yellow chronograph layout that accurately displays 1/100 of a second, 30-minute counter, 60-second counter and power reserve indicator.

The special edition DEFY Chronograph is powered by Zenith’s signature in-house El Primero movement, which consists of 239 components and provides a power reserve of at least 50 hours. The transparent caseback allows you to observe the inner workings of the El Primero movement up close, while the exterior is engraved to indicate the special release. Designed to work in whatever environment the Extreme E series travels, Zenith features a yellow Velcro strap with rubber from recycled tires for the new version.
