Exclusive first look: Jacob & Co.’s new Epic X Titanium and Epic X Baguette rose gold
The brand’s iconic bold design is used extensively, transforming the classic watch method into a bold modern miracle.
As a member of the internationally acclaimed jewellery and global retail business, the timepieces created by the Jacob & Co. watchmaking team, while still respecting the traditions of haute horology, unapologetically set foot in the field of individual decoration. The new versions of Epic X watches-Epic X Titanium and Epic X Baguette Rose Gold-are of course no exception.
Surprisingly, by gorgeously constraining and constructing a fully observable skeletonized manual winding movement in a bold case design, the company produced two visually stunning timepieces with modern charm, showing This is the brand’s insistence on classics.
“I have to create,” said company founder Jacob Arable. “My dream has always been to invent things that have not been done before. For brands, it is about turning the impossible into reality.”
Heavy metal
Titanium skeleton movement, rose gold balance bridge at 6 o’clock, skeleton mainspring at 12 o’clock, power reserve 72 hours, fixed by two sturdy vertical bridges. The middle length from the lugs to the timepiece. This structure not only allows the depth and back of the watch to have great transparency, but also the parallel bridges create an empty space on both sides of the dial, thus producing a visually attractive effect. In fact, the movement seems to float almost in the middle of the timepiece.
The X pattern starts from the four points of the sturdy lugs. Like the case, the contours are etched, micro-sandblasted, trimmed, and professionally polished to provide some unexpected sparkle to the usual matte appearance of titanium. The prominent crown and protector blend perfectly with the classic and modern combination. A hollow double-edged hand with a striking red tip extends over the entire package and binds it together.
At the same time, the hollow hexagonal honeycomb rubber strap (or crocodile leather strap) echoes the geometric DNA of the design and its modernity. To end the story of ruggedness, this watch is unexpectedly water resistant to 50 meters (164 feet).

Of course, as a famous jeweler, gem setting will never be far from the design concept of Jacob & Co., most of its watches are designed to add decorations. In the case of Epic X, the design canvas proved to be ideal for adding 26 baguette-cut white diamonds (total weight approximately 4.6 carats) to the bezel.
Although the gem setting method uses different sizes of gemstones according to the purpose, the rectangular cut diamonds used in Epic X Baguette Rose Gold emphasize the rectangular frame of the skeleton movement. In addition, the professionally processed 18K rose gold case, movement components and hands are even more eye-catching.
In this case, the sky blue rubber honeycomb strap (or alligator strap) holds this masterpiece in place. Moreover, although the Epic X Baguette Rose Gold is more elegant in nature, it is also waterproof, this time reaching 30 meters (98 feet).
Of course, at the size of 44 x 12.3 mm, neither of these timepieces will be overlooked on your wrist. But the presentation was not clearly eye-catching or gorgeous. Feel more-well, I would say-“epic”. Replica discount swiss watches
