Although some brands have provided us with one or two watch releases before the major Wholesale fake watch fairs, Breitling has released a new Navitimer series two months before the 2018 Basel Watch Fair. George Kern left Richemont last summer to join Breitling as CEO, and almost six months later, this collection shows us that he means business.

Breitling Navitimer 8
With the new Navitimer 8 series, Breitling reminds everyone that it has become a well-known brand, partly because it is the official supplier of aviation instruments. In 1938, Breitling established the Whitby Aviation Division to produce cockpit instruments and pilot watches. “Huit” is the French word for “eight” and was selected by Willy Breitling in recognition of the eight-day power reserve of his cockpit instruments. Breitling has now named the new Navitimer 8 watch Huit Aviation Department, thus fully entering reality.
The Navitimer 8 series includes five new pilot watches, each of which is heavily influenced by Breitling’s heritage. Familiar Navitimer logos, such as notched bezels and beveled lugs. These are integrated with the design cues of the vintage Breitling chronograph and on-board clock, such as numbers, railroad minute tracks with inverted triangles, and luminous hollow hands.
Aviation Timing 8 B01
The flagship product of this series, Navitimer 8 B01, has a size of 43mm. The case is made of stainless steel with a black or blue dial, or 18k rose gold with a bronze dial. On those dials are three contrasting silver registers and a date window between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock. Strap options include steel bracelet or crocodile leather strap, if you need to change the strap, we can help you. As the name suggests, Navitimer 8 B01 runs on the internal Breitling watchmaking movement 01, which has a power reserve of more than 70 hours and can be seen through the transparent back cover.
Navitimer 8 Unitime
Navitimer 8 Unitime is also 43mm in size, and is exclusively available in stainless steel. In addition to a leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet, you can also choose a black or silver dial. Since the winding crown can control everything (city dial, hour hand and 24-hour dial), the watch’s word time function is easy to use.
Navitimer 8 Chronograph
The size of the Breitling Navitimer 8 chronograph has reached 43mm again, and it is available in stainless steel or DLC coated steel. Although its style is similar to that of Navitimer 8 B01, the dial configuration is different. The sub-dial is located in the 6/9/12 configuration, so there is room for the 3 o’clock date window. The machine case is equipped with an organic core No. 13 movement, which has a 42-hour power reserve.
Aviation Chronograph 8 Date and Date
The Breitling Navitimer 8 Day&Date stainless steel case has a smaller diameter of only 41 mm. The day window on the black or blue dial is located at 12 o’clock and the date hole is located at 6 o’clock. Similar to other models, the choice of strap is a steel bracelet or a leather strap. Behind the sturdy caseback is Calibre 45, which has a 40-hour power reserve.
Navitimer 8 automatic
The entry point for the new series is the 41mm Breitling Navitimer 8 Automatic, which is a simple time and date model. Available in steel or steel with black DLC coating, with black and blue dials, steel bracelets and leather straps. Navitimer 8 runs on caliber 17, with a power reserve of more than 40 hours.
