The watch is powered by GoogleTM Wear OS. Users will receive notifications informing them of the start time (15 minutes before the start of the game), goals, free throws, substitutions, yellow and red cards and increased time. The app will also display the team lineup and VAR decision, and then when it signifies the end of the game, it will also start the countdown.
Hublot will also provide a special edition watch for the referees of the UEFA Champions League, which is made of ultra-lightweight composite materials and is even lighter than the ceramic version. It will incorporate other techniques designed to help referees, including goal techniques, to signal the referee when the entire ball has crossed the entire line.
Hublot is the first Swiss fake watch brand and luxury brand to set foot in football, and the first Swiss watch brand to create a luxury interconnected football watch for Russia’s 2018 FIFA Football WorldTM. This season, Hublot has also become the official timekeeper of the Premier League for the first time. Next year, the UEFA Champions League will be scheduled. The UEFA Champions League will be rescheduled due to the pandemic, but it will still be called UEFA EURO 2020TM.
