This timepiece was launched to commemorate Miles Davis (May 26, 1926 – September 28, 1991), hailed as one of the greatest jazz musicians of all time. It also commemorates the 100th anniversary of Davis’s birth. The Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis is inspired by the 806 Mk5 watch Davis wore in the mid-1960s.
